ISO 9001:2015 is the internationally recognised Quality Management System (QMS) standard. Achieving this standard means that your company has a genuine focus on customer service and requirements and is committed to improved internal leadership and continuous improvement.

It’s important to note that ISO 9001 is not a certification of the quality of the products or services that your company provides; rather, it’s a process-based standard.

However, improved product quality will flow from better control of processes as this leads to more consistent results and all-round improvement. 
This international standard specifies the requirements for an effective Environmental Management System (EMS). Its aim is to provide a framework that your company can follow rather than laying down specific performance requirements.

​It’s a voluntary standard, but its impact is intensified when certification is achieved in parallel with ISO 9001 – the combined certification can help your company achieve its objectives more effectively.

​The International Organization of Standardization (ISO) defines an Environmental Management System as ‘part of the management system used to manage environmental aspects, fulfil compliance obligations, and address risks and opportunities.’ 
​This is a relatively new standard, developed by the ISO to formalise the requirements for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.

ISO 45001 consists of a framework that will enable your company to avoid losses caused by lapses in health and safety (whether enforced early retirement, staff absences or increased insurance premiums).

It also allows you to authentically position your company as genuinely caring about providing better and safer working conditions for your people: risk-free workplaces and a focus on employee wellbeing.

ISO 45001 follows a similar approach to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. In combination, these three standards make a powerful statement about your company’s total commitment to quality and safety.
